Partials: The Dark Days of Summer

Okay, so I LOVED Partials by Dan Wells. It’s creepy and dystopian and sci-fiish, and basically everything I love in a good book. I won’t get into details too much, but here’s a link to my full review.

So I’m super stoked to be participating in the Dark Days of Summer Blog Tour and share some goodies with you guys about Partials! I’ll also be hosting Dan Wells on my blog for an interview later this month.

First up, HarperTeen has asked me -

Like all book lovers, you choose your vacation destination based on what you’re reading.

Lucky you— a magical genie is granting you and your copy of PARTIALS a summer trip. If you could read PARTIALS anywhere in the world, where would you go and why?

Guys, THIS IS A HARD ONE. I wouldn’t say Partials is a super beachy read. I need somewhere where I can curl up under a blanket and really get into it, because Partials is intense. Also, I hate the heat. So I think I’d probably take Partials to Switzerland. Because I’ve never been and also brrr!

Looks fun, yeah?

What about you? Where would you like to read a book like Partials?

Also, there’s some cool stuff on The Dark Days of Summer website here! There’s even chapter excerpts!

About Dan Wells

The short version, taken from his website: Dan was born at a young age, killed a man in Reno just to watch him die, and ate the last mango in Paris. Then he wrote this book.

  2. I really want to read this one. And looooove the photoshopping. Switzerland sounds great. I’m thinking of planning a vacation to a friends house where I do nothing but sit by her pool while she’s at work and read for a week.
