The Reece Malcom List by Amy Spalding is one of those titles that went on my “MUST HAVE” list as soon as I read the description. I love contemps, I love performing art schools, I love boys with good hair, I love lists, and I absolutely love family drama – everything about The Reece Malcom list is right up my alley!

2. She lives in or near Los Angeles.
3. Since her first novel was released, she’s been on the New York Times bestseller list every week.
4. She likes strong coffee and bourbon.
5. She’s my mother.Devan knows very little about Reece Malcolm, until the day her father dies and she’s shipped off to live with the mother she’s never met. All she has is a list of notebook entries that doesn’t add up to much.

This book is already on my TBR list. It sounds like a great contemporary YA. I can’t wait to see what Devan discovers about her mom.

I love lists too, and added this when the cover reveal dropped. It’s just so adorable-sounding. Usually when I add things at a cover reveal it’s because of the cover; this one I added for the description, just like you did!
