Bloggiesta – My First Time!

I feel like every other week someone is talking about Bloggiesta and their goals and how awesome they’re going to be this weekend while they work on their blog and I’m always like WAHH why am I missing out on the fun?

Okay, every other week is clearly an exaggeration, but whatever. But THIS TIME I will not miss out on the fun! Because tomorrow, oh yes, tomorrow I will be sitting at work at the university library ALL. DAMN. DAY. Note university library. Aka students. Aka NOBODY goes to the library on Saturdays because it’s Saturday. So I will have plenty of blogging time. Except for when I skiddaddle to go do fun things on Saturday and Sunday that are not here, hah! But blogging things will happen in the down time.

Remember that mini readathon I did like a week or two? I named six books I would read that weekend? Yeah, I read one. So I’mma try to keep my goals a little realistic, haha! Which, okay, let’s face it, isn’t going to happen because I am the least realistic person. I like to accomplish ALL THE THINGS.

  1. YAY for joining the fun! :) Those sound like manageable goals for this weekend so I’m sure you can do it. I’m hoping I can read/review 2 books this weekend and get at least 3 outstanding reviews written. It’s so easy to fall behind >.<

Also, if you're going to update your spreadsheet with your books, link it to my mini-challenge (Microsoft Access and Book Blogging). I focus on databases and spreadsheets and I'm giving away an amazon gift card for participants who start/update their spreadsheets :)

  2. Yay! Another Shelfari fan! I know there are lots of people who like Shelfari, but I always feel like I’m outnumbered with the Goodreads fan. Like you, though, I use both, but I prefer Shelfari way more!

Good luck on accomplishing all your goals!

  4. I would want to participate in Bloggiesta, but I’m not going to be home much at all this weekend. I usually do keep a running to-do list of stuff to accomplish on the blog, so hopefully I tackle that soon!

Good luck with your goals! You can totally do it!
