There are so many FANTASTIC books coming out in September! Definitely going to break the bank. How about you? Which ones are you most excited for?

SO MANY AWESOME BOOKS come out EVERY month. And this month? TOO MANY. I don’t know what I’m going to do because I basically want to buy them all. It’s going to be hard, guys! Which ones are you most excited for?

Please note that this is clearly not ALL of the books coming out in September. Also note that sometimes release dates change and I don’t catch them!

I’ve been highlighting each month’s releases since November of 2010. View past editions by clicking here.

Check out the bottom of the post for a giveaway!

The Dark Unwinding by Sharon Cameron – Amazon | Goodreads
A dark, 18th century steampunkish kind of book! I’ve already read The Dark Unwinding and it was enjoyable, but not a favourite. Lots of people are loving it, though! You can read my full review here.

The Encyclopedia of Me by Karen Rivers – Amazon | Goodreads
I started reading The Encyclopedia of Me and it is hilarious and such a cute, clever way to tell a story.

34 Pieces of You by Carmen Rodrigues – Amazon | Goodreads
34 Pieces of You is a truly amazing, beautiful contemporary. Don’t miss it! You can read my full review here.

The Great Unexpected by Sharon Creech – Amazon | Goodreads
The Great Unexpected sounds like a fantastic and moving middle grade story! And I just can’t get enough of historical fiction middle grade!

Envy by Elizabeth Miles – Amazon | Goodreads
I really enjoyed Fury by Elizabeth Miles, although some things didn’t work for me, and I think her mythology is super interesting. I’m excited to read Envy to see what I think!

Monstrous Beauty by Elizabeth Fama – Amazon | Goodreads
I’m not usually a mermaid person, but I’ve heard fab things about Monstrous Beauty and I can’t wait to give it a shot!

Origin by Jessica Khoury – Amazon | Goodreads
Everything about Origin appeals to me! I’ve been waiting for it for ages!

Rage Within by Jeyn Roberts – Amazon | Goodreads
I was surprised by how much I really liked Dark Inside, so I can’t wait to see what I think about Rage Within!

Starting From Here by Lisa Jenn Bigelow – Amazon | Goodreads
Starting From Here is a contemp I can’t wait to read! I have a feeling it’s going to be important and entertaining!

Surviving High School by M. Doty – Amazon | Goodreads
Surviving High School is fun and cute, and surprisingly moving. I enjoyed it way more than I expected to!

My Super Sweet Sixteenth Century by Rachel Harris – Amazon | Goodreads
My Super Sweet Sixteenth is an incredibly fun book that you must get your hands on!

Vessel by Sarah Beth Durst – Amazon | Goodreads
I think Vessel sounds like an amazing fantasy that I can’t wait to get my hands on!

Nerve by Jeanne Ryan – Amazon | Goodreads
I look books that have a lot to do with gaming! Nerve sounds pretty freaking awesome and intense.

Adaptation by Malinda Lo – Amazon | Goodreads
Adaptation sound super creepy and intense! Can’t wait.

Because It Is My Blood by Gabrielle Zevin – Amazon | Goodreads
I will never get over dystopian. Although I still need to read the first book by Gabrielle Zevin, I can’t wait to read Because It Is My Blood!

Burn for Burn by Siobhan Vivian and Jenny Han – Amazon | Goodreads
I love these two ladies, although I’ve never read any of their books! They’re hilarious together in person and I can’t wait to see what I think of Burn for Burn!

Butter by Erin Jade Lange – Amazon | Goodreads
The kid tries to eat himself. Enough said. Want.

The Crown of Embers by Rae Carson – Amazon | Goodreads
EEP I absolutely loved the first book in this series and I can’t wait to dig into The Crown of Embers!

The Dead Girl’s Detective Agency by Suzy Cox – Amazon | Goodreads
I am such a mystery fangirl. This book has “detective agency” in the title – of course I’m in!

The Diviners by Libba Bray – Amazon | Goodreads
I am all about the flapper books and Libba Bray takes the 1920s and adds a magical twist. I am so down for The Diviners.

The Peculiar by Stefan Bachmann – Amazon | Goodreads
The Peculiar is dark and beautiful and definitely turned faerie lore on its head!

The Raven Boys by Maggie Stiefvater – Amazon | Goodreads
I haven’t read very much Maggie Stiefvater, but The Raven Boys sounds pretty awesome!

Stormdancer by Jay Kristoff – Amazon | Goodreads
Stormdancer looks and sounds amazing. Love the cover and lots of people have raved about it!

Ten by Gretchen McNeil- Amazon | Goodreads
I can’t freaking wait to dig into Ten! It sounds exactly like my kind of book – creepy with serial killers.

What’s Left of Me by Kat Zhang – Amazon | Goodreads
What’s Left of Me was a fantastic debut! I can’t wait to get a finished copy of this one.

Alice in Zombieland by Gena Showalter – Amazon | Goodreads
I haven’t read any books by Gena Showalter – maybe Alice in Zombieland will be my first!

The Blessed by Tonya Hurley – Amazon | Goodreads
The Blessed sounds super creepy! I’ve heard great things and I can’t wait to read it!

A Fractured Light by Jocelyn Davies – Amazon | Goodreads
I was genuinely surprised by how much I loved A Beautiful Dark and not reading A Fractured Light is not an option!

The Mephisto Kiss by Trinity Faegan – Amazon | Goodreads
I love all of the mythology in this series by Trinity Faegan and I really liked The Mephisto Covenant!

Shadows by Ilsa Bick – Amazon | Goodreads
I absolutely freaking loved Ashes. What a roller coaster of a ride! I can’t wait to dig into Shadows and find out what happens next, because holy crap, that ending!

The Turning by Francine Prose – Amazon | Goodreads
The Turning is a super creepy sounding book – maybe I’ll save this one for Halloween!
