THE ARCHIVED! Seriously, I am still reeling from this book and I read it at about the same time you did. So. Freaking. Good. I think The Giver was the first chapter book I read that really rocked my world! Great list! And I love your new blog layout :]

THE GIVER.
That ending.
I can’t.

I’ve only read Harry Potter on your list, but I definitely agree! Harry Potter made it on my list, too. What list would be complete without Harry Potter.

WHAT’S LEFT OF ME! That was SO GOOD. I relish my ARC like nobody’s business. :D

The Giver is such a good book ~ you really do think about it for a very long time after you read it.

I LOVE HP! One of the most influential series I have read and I bet I’m not the only one in this world who think so. Heh. Haven’t read What’s Left of Me, but would love to. And I’ve heard great things about Speechless. I always love books that make me think, however, I find books from previous eras include more topics you can think about and criticize society more than today’s literature. Btw, I love your TTT banner :)

Oh, The Giver! Excellent pick, I love that book even though the ending makes me sad/a little confused. Forbidden is another one I’ve read but didn’t think of and Wanderlove is on my tbr– glad to hear you enjoyed it and found it thought-provoking. Overall, awesome list!

I’ve only read the Giver off this list, but it was an amazing book. I tried to read it in fourth grade, and despite its easy level I couldn’t quite get it, so I came back to it in seventh and was fascinated by it. Ok…I’ve read Harry Potter. I can’t quite see why this book is on so many people’s lists. I liked it, and it did have a anti-racism message, but it would never make it in my top 50, much less my top ten. Fill me in! Here’s Ours

Oooh nice to see The Archived on your list…I will be getting to that one shortly! :)

Forbidden is also on my list. That story broke me. I don’t think that I have heard of many of the novels on your list but I will absolutely look into them. Thanks for sharing.

AH! The Giver! I really wanted to re-read it. It has been far too long.

The Giver is one of the most thinky books I can think of! Wonderful list! Here’s my TTT

I put What’s Left of Me on my list too! The concept was just so crazy, like how everything was the same except that we’re all born with two souls. That changes so much, and, while it sounds insane, why wouldn’t it perhaps be that way in some alternate universe. O_O

I’m looking forward to reading The Archived! It sounds BRILLIANT.
