Giveaway: Meant to Be by Lauren Morrill
Okay, I swear I didn’t mean to have this many giveaways in a row, but it happened and I am particuarly stoked for this one!
Meant to Be by Lauren Morrill has been one of my fave reads this year, and possibly one of my fave contemps of all time. I keep saying this, but it’s like she sat down and was like, “What’s the perfect book for Tara?” and then wrote it. It mega plays on all of my weaknesses, including – but not limited to, foreign settings, cute guys, class trips, control freak protagonists, humor, and more.
I think I’ve featured Meant to Be in nearly every Top Ten Tuesday post since I read it and I’ve squealed about it on a weekly basis to different people on Twitter.
So when Lauren Morrill was like, hey wanna host a giveaway? I was like, UH YEAH DUH Also I am SO JEALOUS that you were in the The Vampire Diaries, etc. Because really, what the shit, I am so jealous.
Anyway, I’ll be updating this post with a picture of the ARC and the swag when it comes in the mail, but you can go ahead and enter the giveaway anyway!
Also, the ARC is signed. And it’s the last ARC of Meant to Be. Which is kind of badass.
Meant to be or not meant to be . . . that is the question.It’s one thing to fall head over heels into a puddle of hazelnut coffee, and quite another to fall for the—gasp—wrong guy. Straight-A junior Julia may be accident prone, but she’s queen of following rules and being prepared. That’s why she keeps a pencil sharpener in her purse and a pocket Shakespeare in her, well, pocket. And that’s also why she’s chosen Mark Bixford, her childhood crush, as her MTB (“meant to be”).
But this spring break, Julia’s rules are about to get defenestrated (SAT word: to be thrown from a window) when she’s partnered with her personal nemesis, class-clown Jason, on a school trip to London. After one wild party, Julia starts receiving romantic texts . . . from an unknown number! Jason promises to help discover the identity of her mysterious new suitor if she agrees to break a few rules along the way. And thus begins a wild goose chase through London, leading Julia closer and closer to the biggest surprise of all: true love.
Because sometimes the things you least expect are the most meant to be.

I’ve been waiting for this one for a long time! Just a quick question: The Rafflecopter form says the ARC is for US or Canada only, but the post says US only. Is it just US, or Canada too for the ARC?
Either way, I’ll be buying this one when it comes out! :)

When I met Lauren Morrill at BEA this past summer and learned about MEANT TO BE, I knew that it would go to the top of my most wanted list. I’m a writer contemporary YA, a lover of the genre and am so excited to see so much praise for it and a new author who is so sweet and loves the Vampire Diaries (major bonus!)
